Below are several samples to help you plan your next retreat or conference. Heidi will work with you and design other topics or themes that will be perfect for your intended audience.

A Life of No Regrets

Theme Verse “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints” (Eph. 1:18 NIV).

Session 1 – Radical Inheritance – What we love motivates us. In this session Heidi has participants discover that the Holy Spirit helps us to guard our heart from destruction and pain, and lovingly guides us into our glorious life.
Session 2 – Righteous Relationships – Our greatest regrets and sorrow comes from the tension and fragmentation of relationships. Heidi uses this session to discover how we can accept each other and forgive each other so that we do not have lingering regret.
Session 3 – The Me I Want to Be – Shame has to be surrendered so that God can unleash your dreams and allow you to be who He created you to be.
Session 4 – Sabotage or Success? – This session clearly shows how the power of prayer helps us to let go of the past and focus on a life without regret.

Most people live with regret. This Retreat lovingly guides the participant to release the regret from their past, and move them into their glorious future.

Hidden Treasures

Theme Verse: “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:2-3 NIV).

Session 1 – Encouraged in Heart – One of our greatest treasures are encouraging words that spur us on to be all that God designed us to be.
Session 2 – United in Love – Our lives are greatly enriched when we are in healthy, vibrant and intimate relationships with God and each other.
Session 3 – Radical Revelations – God can take our misdeeds and ugliness and transform them into the most beautiful treasures.
Session 4 – Incomparable Riches – God’s truths are the road map to hidden treasures.

This retreat focuses on all the glorious riches that God has placed within each of us. What are they and how do we unpack them? Heidi teaches each session based on God’s word so that each one of us can discover our treasures and live them out in a practical and powerful way.

Sand to Pearls

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do at it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do” (James 1:22-25 NIV)

Session 4: Sand or Pearls … Choose Real or Unreal Expectations

If God can take a piece of grit that ended up in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and through time and process transform it into a radiant, priceless unique pearl, imagine what He can do with our lives. We are made in the image of God; we are His children and He loves us with a lavish love. Envision what He can do with our mistakes and failures due to bad choices.

All four sessions are designed to have the participant look in the “mirror of their soul” to discover where they need God to help them take their grit and transform it into new joy and freedom to enrich their lives.

Surviving Sabotage

Thee Verse: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him, but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit …for we have mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:9,10, 16 (b)).

Session 1: STRIVING…to be a Somebody
We live in the daily tension of knowing we are created for something magnificent, yet when we look in the mirror we are reminded of our present, unfulfilling reality. This session brings to the light the false belief system which sabotages our true identity.
Session 2: SURVIVING…when Heart Connections Unravel
We were created for relationships. We throw this cliché around, but do we really know what it means? This session clearly defines how/why we are created to flourish in relationships with God and each other. It also addresses how we survive when rejection, betrayal and unmet expectations threaten to unravel “heart connection” relationships.
Session 3: THRIVING…after we remove the Hidden Obstacles
What is one main obstacle that stops us from living the abundant life we were created for? This is a very tender session which reveals that one of the ways we sabotage our joy is by hiding behind our protective masks to cover our shame. Heidi hits the mark on this topic by addressing it and then giving clear steps on how to get rid of it.
Session 4: FLOURISHING…under my Orange Umbrella
We have been created not just to survive, but to flourish. Then why are so many people walking through life with hunched shoulders, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and simply grinding through another day? This is an interactive session which helps the participant to discover the tools for living a life full of zest, passion and purpose.

Dare to Dream... that Gorgeous Grace Shines on You

Session 1: Dare to Dream … that Gorgeous Grace Shines on You
Women have an easier time dealing with their guilt from obligations and feeling overwhelmed than allowing God’s grace to flow into their lives. This session deals with letting go of who the world expects us to be, and receiving God’s grace for who He designed us to be.
Session 2: Dare to Dream … that Beauty is Unleashed When We Don’t Play Fair
We have an inner balance system that tells us that life should be played fair. If you hit me, I hit you back – that’s fair. That’s not how Jesus tells us to live. Our greatest freedom will be when we learn that forgiveness is the key to our greatest beauty and freedom.
Session 3: Dare to Dream … that Radiance Emerges from Rubble
We are deceived when we think that our secrets are safely tucked away in a tightly closed box. On the contrary – these secrets become a lethal weapon that can destroy our souls. In this session we discover that God can take all our junk, our failures, our shame, and transform it into glorious beauty that will empower us to make a difference in our lives and this world.
Session 4: Dare to Dream … that We Can Thrive in an “Upside Down Kingdom”
Everything that we passionately pursue and work so hard to acquire, will one day disappear. In this session we discover how we can flourish when we seek “first the Kingdom of God” and are challenged to lay a strong foundation in the “unseen world.”

Beauty Unleashed

Session 1: Beauty Unleashed … by Choosing to Belong
This session is focused around the Story of Ruth and Naomi (Ruth 1: 1-16). We all have a longing to find a place where we belong. We feel fulfilled and joyful when we find that “place of belonging.”
Session 2: Beauty Unleashed … by Looking Behind Our Masks
Who do you want me to be? In this session we discover how Satan (1 Peter 5:8) prowls around, deceives us and uses our shame and failures to sabotage our true self.
Session 3: Beauty Unleashed … through Playing Unfair
We are created for relationship – physically and spiritually. In this session Heidi shows that Jesus said our greatest joy is experienced in relationships (John 17:21). But, they don’t always evolve the way we anticipate. Heidi provides the tools for bringing healing and restoration into relationships.

Daughters of the King

Theme Verse: “I took you from the end of the earth; from the farthest corners I called you. I said, “You are my servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you.” (Isaiah 41:3)

Session 1: Chosen and Adopted into Royalty
You and I were chosen before the foundations of the earth were formed. Now it is up to you and me – will we accept that chosenness to be adopted into God’s royal family?
Session 2: Daughter of the King and Me – Makes Three
This session is focused on three people. You, your intimate heart connection friend and God. If we want our relationships to be powerful, intimate and healthy, we need the third person in the middle – God.
Session 3: Unmasking the Royal Imposters
Women learn how to wear masks to cover up their insecurities. When we wear a mask we can be anything the world wants us to be. We need to drop our mask and allow God to unleash all that He designed for us before the foundations of the earth were formed.
Session 4: Building a Royal Kingdom
This session is based on the story of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem. Heidi guides participants through ways that God can use all our rubble and trouble to create a strong foundation in our spiritual life.

Choose Delight

Theme Verse: “The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with His love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

Session 1: Choose to Take Back the Gift
God gave us gifts for glorious living. The world may diminish the value of those gifts but this session teaches how to take back the joy and recapture those gifts.
Session 2: Choose Heart Connections
We were created for relationship and we crave human connection. This teaching unleashes the power of deep, intimate friendships.
Session 3: Choose Beauty
Shame uses masks to cover our beauty. This session empowers women to remove the various masks of shame.
Session 4 – Choose your Desires
This session identifies our human yearnings and desires. Heidi leads women to help them discover God’s fulfilling desires for their lives.

Beautiful Relationships with God... and Each Other

Theme Verse: “Be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Session 1: Beauty in Our Raggedness
Heidi uses visual tools to show women how we can change our vision from seeing ourselves as ragged to God’s masterpiece.
Session 2: Beauty through Heart Connections
“Who will you call at 2:00 in the morning?” This session shows that friends are the hands and feet of God.
Session 3: Beauty behind Our Masks
We reflect God’s beauty on earth. How do we remove the shame that covers that beauty? This is a powerful, interactive session designed to help us remove shame.
Session 4: Beauty from Restoration
Humans crave resolution and restoration. This session walks through the book of Nehemiah to show the beauty and power of restoration.

Better Together

Theme Verse: “I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:21-23 NIV)

Session 1: Step 1 – Search for Significance
We need to know our own significance before we can love others.
Session 2: Step 2 – Search for Heart Connections
We need each other so that we can be all that God created us to be. Heidi teaches about friendships, mentors and spiritual accountability as tools to be better together.
Session 3: Step 3 – Search for Her
We need to pursue forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration so that we can live in authentic unified communities.

Dare to Dream

Theme Verse: “Now to HIM who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to HIS power that is at work within us, to HIM be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20)

Session 1: Dare to Dream that I am a Somebody
You are a somebody – not a nobody. Heidi gives biblical and powerful evidence that we are of great value.
Session 2: Dare to Dream that God Gives you Desires
This is an interactive session to discover our human desires and how they line up with God’s desires for our lives.
Session 3: Dare to Dream that God Gives Us Heart Connections
We were created for relationship and we crave human connection. This teaching unleashes the power of deep, intimate friendships.
Session 4: Dare to Dream that You can Overcome All Obstacles
An obstacle is simply a temporary roadblock. Heidi teaches that this is a place where we need God’s wisdom to make beautiful and powerful life-changing decisions.

Renovations of the Heart

Theme Verse: “Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” (Psalm 51:12 TLB)

Session 1: Reveal
In this session Heidi uses visual objects to have God reveal all the “junk” in our lives that we need to get rid of.
Session 2: Relinquish
Heidi shows women how they can surrender everything that is holding them back from who God created them to be.
Session 3: Restore
This session talks about the way we hurt each other in relationships. God is the only one who can restore broken hearts.
Session 4: Rejoice
Our greatest joy comes when we are obedient to God’s word. This session closes with celebration.
